honeybees!

these incredible creatures have so much to teach me. they are gentle, beautiful, embodied expressions of unity consciousness. i observe the way they move as one superorganism and it is fascinating. they build sacred geometry and create sweet honey. i am learning so much about the physical processes that they carry out as well as the symbolic lessons that their presence has to share. one thing they have taught me is that they don't need me at all, nature knows what its doing and i just need to step back and appreciate it's intelligence. i love the fact that they are almost entirely girls and getting to be a part of their field is calming in the best way. not only do they make propolis, honey, wax, etc. , but they also pollinate our ecosystem, making the flowers bloom and thrive, spreading abundance everywhere they go. the honey and pollen in the third picture all came from the land upon which i live which is just so amazing to me. someday i hope to be able to take a more natural approach to caring for hives that supports their organic behaviors and innate preferences. for now this is where i'm at and it is such a joy to be here.
