road trip

a little while ago i went on a solo road trip out west in my pt cruiser named bella. it was a lengthy journey and i was away from home for almost the whole month of september. i feel so grateful to have had the time, resources and courage, to embark on this adventure. i learned a lot from my travels, more than i can share in a blog post. i learned about faith and freedom, i learned how capable and strong i am, i learned how deeply i love my home and how much i care for my community. i tent camped and stayed with family along the way to sedona, arizona. the land there was magical and healing, i met so many awesome people and saw so many cool things. i got my aura photographed, i ate some great food at a beautiful restaurant called chocolatree, i visited spots that felt sacred, and i spent time with myself. i experienced so many humans, places, and objects. it't hard to capture with words what i encountered. i am reminded of basic human kindness and compassion, i am reminded that we are one.
