going vegan and integrating fasting into my days has been one of the best decisions i have ever made for my health, and this planet.

  1. vegan - eating plant-based is so aligned with my human. it feels so true to nourish my body with food that has been grown for me, with love, by mother gaia. removing the energies of suffering, violence, fear, cruelty, and separation from what i consume makes me feel lighter, clearer, and harmonized with all of creation. this is also congruent with the values i hold to respect and honor every form of life, no matter how different or small. we are all one and to embody unity, our actions must reflect it. we are beings of light that are infinitely sustained by source, in the new earth, we eat for pleasure and enjoyment, not survival. when presence, gratitude, and reverence accompany our meals, we begin to be truly nourished. not only by nutrients and minerals but by life itself, by movement, sunlight, conversation, breath, and the existence of the creator within. each body is unique and you do not need to be vegan in order to ascend, but i encourage you to be intentional and mindful about what you allow into your being and notice how it makes you feel. not only food, but media, relationships, and the energy all around you. listen to the wisdom of your temple, trust your own intuition and understand that nourishment comes in many forms.

p.s. fruit is a miracle. it is juicy, sweet, hydration and fiber without karma and it will do wonders for your well-being, digestion, and overall system, eat more fruit!!!

  1. fasting - implementing periods of fasting has created space for me to listen to my physical instrument. fasting is not about restriction, punishment, or discipline, it is about remembering that we are provided for simply because we are alive. in a fasted state, the body learns how to metabolize sound, texture, scent, and light into energy that is pure and sustainable. from this state, a clarity is born that cannot be described with language, things feel vitalized, brighter, and animated. the channel is cleared and more light is able to flow through, crystalline codes are more easily integrated. when input, stimulation, and noise are reduced, we are able to truly hear the wisdom of our own vessels, the world all around us, and the voice of spirit within. consumption can be beautiful when done deliberately, and bringing awareness back to how and when we eat is a good place to start. fasting is not about pushing food away but rather embracing our other senses as equal forms of nourishment. this practice has deepened the reverence that i feel for life in more ways than i can express. but theres more . . . the magic of fasting is not only spiritual, it is also biological. when we stop eating, the intelligence of the human body is able to direct energy to things other than digestion. we begin the process of autophagy, and the body begins to heal itself! like all things, fasting is best done in moderation and with intention. do your research and learn from others, but always honor your own being and check in with your own heart. remember that you are sovereign and use your discernment! no one knows your body better than you do.

thank you for taking the time to read this. i hope it has helped you in some way :)

These are interesting points, Fin. Which make me remember something. Recently, I have made the choice of exchange coffee for tea, but in a "ritual" way. I mean, tasting, calming, with nothing more around my mind on that moment, but only the tea. I have been feeling a great presure in doing that. Preasure with food. :)
