i recently made this painting and im not sure if i should outline the flower with black or leave it as it is . . . what do you think?

I wouldn’t outline it in black.

The purple and blue background is beautiful,

and the yellow center really stands out naturally. 🎨🌿

I would replace the blue background with a black (or black/blue color). The flower would then radiate the heaven-like blue color into the darkness. I.e. where there is light there is no darkness.

Beautiful happy painting, Fin 🌞 I think it might give the painting an even lighter feeling to it when you put a small outline of light around the flower. Of maybe make the sky somewhat lighter blue around the flower so that it ‘catches more attention’ 😊. I wish you a lot of fun creating your art 💖
